Trolltech recently held its 3rd annual Trolltech Developer Days 2006 event in Munich (Oct 11-12) and San Jose (Oct 26-27). Developers from around the world were promised the opportunity to expand their knowledge, share ideas and that they would be eager to get back to their offices to put into use the things they've learned….and Trolltech delivered.

The Internet brought a new wave of computer innovation. E-commerce, web-based applications and wide-spread use of email -- we can hardly imagine life without the Internet now. The Internet was open for people to create and innovate. In much the same way, Trolltech believes mobile phones should be open for innovation.
No Limits for Multimedia in Qtopia Phone Edition 4
 Qtopia Phone Edition 4 features the integration of Helix DNA Client:
the industry standard digital media platform. Helix DNA Client is a
highly stable and mature open source platform upon which many desktop
and embedded media players have been built.
